OPEN ASSUMPTIONS. NO SECRET FORMULAS.

A million is a goal.
Not a promise.

1miljon.se is a free guide website from Secreton AB. We collect 100 ideas about saving, income, business and net worth. They are different perspectives, not 100 guaranteed or independent income sources. Several may be combined. All financial examples use Swedish kronor (SEK) and generally refer to Swedish circumstances. An English translation does not convert the amounts into another currency or adapt Swedish rules to another country.

How we calculate

Unless stated otherwise, examples start at zero kronor and add contributions at the end of each month. The effective monthly rate is (1 + annual return) raised to 1/12, minus 1. We calculate month by month until capital first reaches at least one million kronor.

A return is an assumption after tax and fees, not a forecast. Inflation, market fluctuations and changes in rules are excluded. After-tax contribution amounts in income guides are illustrative scenarios, not salary statistics or verified expected profits. Preparation time and costs before saving becomes possible are additional.

Capital held in property, pensions or business shares is not the same as available cash. A household’s million is not one million for every individual. Net worth means assets minus debts.

Why include inheritance and lotteries?

They are ways someone might receive money, but are explicitly not recommended savings plans. Where timing or probability is unknown, we say so. We do not calculate winning odds or offer gambling or borrowing links.

Editorial content and advertising

The guides provide general information, not personal investment, tax or legal advice. Check current rules with relevant authorities. Advertising opportunities are labelled and centrally controlled through Secreton. The website’s own advertising invitations are not claims of an external paid campaign. Sponsored placements do not change the savings calculations.

Choosing a language

Use the SV | EN control in the header to choose Swedish or English, regardless of your browser language. Links within each edition keep that language. The switch takes you to the corresponding translated guide or page. We do not force a redirect based on browser language, and do not store a language-tracking cookie or personal language profile.

You may voluntarily register your name and email address for the club’s interest list. With your explicit consent, Secreton AB may use these details for future saving ideas, inspiration and financial challenges from 1miljon.se. Registration is stored in a separate membership register under Newsletters, together with the consent wording, version and receipt time. The English form records the English consent wording. No automated newsletter or welcome email is enabled.

You may withdraw consent, ask to leave the list or request erasure through the website’s contact form. Future newsletters must include an easy unsubscribe link before sending is activated. We do not sell email addresses. Continued need must be reviewed within twelve months and when the list’s purpose ends; automatic membership deletion has not yet been installed. A submitted address is not verified simply by completing the form.

Privacy

No account is required. The calculator and search work in your browser. We do not save your calculator entries, search terms or a savings profile. The hosting provider may process technical logs for operations and security.

The shared contact tool loads from secreton.se. Contact details you submit are handled by Secreton AB to deal with and respond to your enquiry. Read Secreton’s privacy policy (Swedish) for rights, contact information and processing details.

The shared advertising client may load, but no external advertising provider has been activated for this website. A cookie-free visitor counter sends only the domain, UTC day and a daily HMAC pseudonym to Secreton. It is generated on the website’s server from the day, domain, network address and browser type. Raw IP addresses, browser strings, page content and form details are not sent to central statistics.

The same daily code is counted at most once per domain and UTC day. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected, no analytics cookies are used and daily codes are removed after 90 days. The counter estimates unique browser/network combinations, not identified people. Multiple devices may count separately, and people using the same network/browser type may be combined.
